All too often students who are normally successful academically are disappointed after their first attempt taking a standardized test. The excellence demonstrated in a student’s academic career doesn’t necessarily translate to a high score on high stakes tests such as the SAT, ACT, SAT II, SSAT, and HSPT.  In some cases, the testing strategies students have applied with success on the academic front can actually hinder their success on standardized tests.

At SmartPrep, we have been successfully preparing students in the Central Bucks area for standardized tests since 1997. We train students to approach these tests differently than they would typical math or English tests. Since standardized tests are designed around the test-taking strategy of the average student, we coach students to use this information to their advantage and approach tests differently. By applying techniques to each question type and strategies to each test, students can perform at their best on these tests and optimize their scores.
